Synopsis: Students will investigate whether our state should allow other states or companies to withdraw water from our aquifer or the Great Lakes.  Students will need to know the components of a watershed including ground and surface water and how these components interact with each other.  Also, they will need to examine the water cycle and the role it plays in our surface and groundwater.
Driving Question: What are the implications of letting other states/companies pump fresh water from the Great Lakes or Michigan’s Marshal’s Aquifer?
