Project Based Learning

PBL is a means to engage students in 21st Century skills and academic content expectations.  Students learn and explore big ideas, content concepts, facts and skills in context of real life applications and projects. An outcome is increased rigor and higher order thinking by students throughout the learning experience, instead of some time in the middle to end of a unit. Module One begins your journey from what is PBL to designing a PBL unit for implementation with your students.

Modules section

Each module will guide participants through the steps for developing a Project, ready for implementation by the end of this experience. The work here is intended to be completed with the facilitation of our consultant coaches. Individuals could go through these modules independently, or even utilize the modules as a means to facilitate learning by others.
