Comment or Edit?
Wikis can be changed in two ways: through comments and edits. So what’s the difference? Wiki comment boxes are generally used for beginning discussions and/or posting questions as well as thoughts related to that specific page’s content. Page edits are made when information contained on a page requires clarification, correction, or enhancement. While workspace users may handle these two options differently, for the purposes of the PBL modules, you should: a) edit your own work, and b) comment on the work of others.
Commenting
To comment on a page, scroll to the bottom of the page. Type your thoughts in the box and click “Add comment.” Your comment will appear at the bottom of the page.
If you would like to respond to some else's post, click the "Reply" link just below their post. This will create a threaded discussion with that individual.
Editing
To edit a page, click the "Edit" tab. Once in edit mode, the page becomes very similar to a word processing document with many of the same basic features. In edit mode, you can add images, link to other pages or websites, and add a variety of multimedia content.
